Burglary of Unconnected Building. |

Dear Resident,
Between 14/01/2026 12:00 to 20/01/2026 09:30 a Residential Burglary of Unconnected Building took place at Winterscroft Road, Hoddesdon.
Reporting person went to garage on the 14/01/2026 and left the garage locked. Reporting person then returned to the garage at midday on 20/01/2026 and entered through the front door by unlocking the padlock. Reporting person saw that there was a huge hole on the garage roof and noticed multiple electric tools and construction items have been stolen. We have a description of 3 males, unaware of what they where wearing at the time.

Tips to prevent burglary:
Alarm it, Consider a battery-operated shed alarm. They look low key but they respond to movement or door contact with an extremely loud siren. Lock it, hide it or mark it, Property mark your items and take photographs of them. Some tools can be painted with your name or postcode and forensic marking is also an option. You can also register any item that has a serial number with immobilise. Consider using a doorbell camera, interior camera, or a monitored burglar alarm.
